This log documents the critical comparison phase for the necklace’s upper chain structure. I took the various components I had designed—such as the skeletal bones, the seal-stamps, and the infinity-lion-loop—and created “several different arrangements and combinations” (几种不同的排列组合) to see how they would function as the final chain. As the images show, I digitally mocked up these different versions, “experimenting with their different sizes and proportions” (使用不同的大小比例来进行对比) against the main pendant. This systematic, side-by-side comparison was essential for my process, as it allowed me to move beyond designing individual parts and to critically evaluate which combination created the “most suitable match” (最合适的搭配) and the most aesthetically harmonious final composition.
