This log documents a critical reflection on aesthetic and functional unity. I identified that several components “did not match” my overall style; a simple bone was just a bone, and a plain ring “lacked design sense” (没有设计感) and clashed with the ornate aesthetic. To solve this, I re-designed these parts to create a “unified design language” (设计语言上更统一). As the models show, I transformed the plain ring into a new, stylized “angular” and “overlapping” component to look more like a “Chinese element.” I also added “decorative curves” to the plain bone. Concurrently, I am addressing a “failed bone connection” (比较失败的骨骼连接) from a previous iteration. My new design, as seen in the models, integrates the connection point directly into the bone ends, creating “loops” (环) that “allow a metal ring to pass directly through,” which is a far more robust and integrated functional solution.
