This log documents the iterative sculpting process for the doll, following my decisive abandonment of the aesthetically unsuccessful “hands” version. I consciously returned to the earlier “church-inspired” concept, dedicating this phase to refining its sculptural details. My primary goal was to imbue the form with greater “volume and force” (体积感和风力) through meticulous carving. The images showcase a progress update at this critical stage, highlighting numerous structural modifications. I focused on enhancing fine details such as the body’s textures, scales, and elements of the wings, ensuring they appear more “systematic and cohesive” rather than a mere arbitrary layering of elements. This refinement aims to elevate the doll beyond a simple assembly, creating a more integrated and aesthetically powerful final form.
