After determining the approximate block, I will start to think about the size and number of segments of these joints. Figures 3 and 4 are my attempts at the structure of this part. I tried a large segment joint and a two segment joint composed of two small balls respectively. Their flexibility and functionality are different. One section is relatively more stable, and the second segment is relatively More flexible. In most of the positions, I use the noodles to separate them first, and then split them into separate components after Boolean cutting. During this period, they encountered many problems, such as the joint collision with an important volume, resulting in the absence of many important details, and some parts of the structural design were unreasonable, which made them unable to move. I decided to dismantle them all before redesigning and processing the structure.
