I referenced the way the straps of the girdle go to attach the laser cut slices. I used a different method of interspersing, and I don’t seem to be keeping good records, which I think is my mistake. I should keep up the habit of recording. This method works, and it’s great for joining different pieces together. I think I might modify my model slightly and cut it in leather. The paper modelling method works well together. I think this is the iterative method that suits me better: making fast making with paper glue wire etc., which allows me to get a reasonable idea and a slice of the model very quickly. After that I need to think about optimising the layout and changing the materials.
