This is a jointed structure controlled by two ropes, it mimics the tentacles of an octopus, I think it’s interesting that it might be possible to pull and tug on a braking point through the bending motion of the finger joints to make the structure move, and in fact I’d like to make some movable jewellery, they would be more interactive than traditional jewellery.
I tried to do it, but they had little effect on my final product. Just think of it as a study.
